With more than 28,000 MAT classes graduates from the Master in the Art of Teaching (MAT) degree program, Marygrove has a history of serving K-12 teachers with an online MAT classes program that is relevant to today’s working educators, with outcomes that improve classroom practice and help online MAT classes graduates fulfill their career aspirations.

The online MAT classes is available as the following programs of study with a focus on:
  • Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment, K-12
  • Elementary Reading & Literacy, K-6

Each of the online MAT programs consists of 10 online MAT classes: Six core MAT classes focus on content that all teachers need to know regardless of grade level and/or subject area, and four specialty courses focus on the content specific to each MAT classes program.
