Three-step Application Process.
There is no application fee!
Simply follow these steps.
- Send a copy of your current teaching certificate.
Please note: We will accept applications if the certificate expiration date is within one year of the application date.
- Send a copy of your transcripts.
Please note: A photocopy or scan of your transcripts will be accepted for the admissions decision; official, sealed transcripts must follow.
Transfers. Getting the credit you deserve.
Graduate courses offered through accredited colleges and universities, including those courses offered through Marygrove College, may be eligible for transfer. You may be eligible to transfer up to two (2) Marygrove individual graduate courses (or 6 credits) into the online Master in the Art of Teaching (MAT) program.
Because the program is offered in a lock-step format without electives, the potential to transfer courses from another institution is highly unlikely. You may request transfer credit for a course from another institution as part of the application process. To be considered, courses would need to have been taken within six (6) years of your anticipated graduation date. All requests for transfer must include
- an official, sealed transcript
- course description and syllabus from the credit-granting college or university
Requests must be made in writing at time of application.

When all of the above has been submitted, your file will be complete, and an admit decision can be made.
